We have a new Team Manager vacancy available with Hull City Council.

An Agency Team Manager is needed in post this is in order to support the management team’s operational management of both EHASH and EDT.

With responsibility for support and supervision of staff, oversight of incoming children’s contacts and decision making/management oversight of the screening of worries and support requests for children and young people.

This also includes the chairing of strategy meetings for children who we have cause to believe have suffered or are at risk of suffering significant harm.

The role is also responsible for the timely allocation of children for support to the wider Early help and children safeguarding service.

• DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
• Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
• Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups
• Possess knowledge of service needs.
• Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
• Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
• Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
