Someone once told us to ‘observe the masses and do the opposite’. We listened, we observed and we put into practice all that others don’t do. It's for this reason that employers and job seekers choose us time and again.
Ashberry was established in 2010 by our two highly ambitious founders, Jennifer Taylor and Kate Mallinson. Ashberry began as they believed they could offer something refreshingly different to the recruitment sector.
Setting up in a small Lancashire village to compete against big city agencies showed guts, but they had the confidence that their brand of ‘different’ would stand out no matter where they laid their hat.
They would truly listen to their candidate and client briefs and match not only by experience but by attitude and team fit. Having built their initial Recruitment experience within the Supported Housing sector which supports the most vulnerable of society you could say that caring is Ashberry’s DNA.
Applying this same level of care today across every sector Ashberry works with is undoubtedly the secret to its success.
No longer considered the new kids on the block and with a solid 12 years behind us, we boast a portfolio of clients that work with us exclusively, providing them with an unrivalled service that they shout about!
What began as a team of 2 is now a team of 20, specialising in providing bespoke recruitment services to the private, public and charitable sectors.
