Inside work

I started Ashberry in September 2023 after the maternity leave of my 3^rd child.

I started in Recruitment 21 years ago when I had just finished college in Lincolnshire. My sister asked me to work as a receptionist for a Recruitment Company she was working for in Leeds for the 6 weeks summer holidays, I took up the opportunity and I never left! I’m still in Leeds now and still in Recruitment. I quickly progressed to a resourcer, then a consultant and eventually into management.

I have 16 years experience working for a national agency specializing in Social Care Recruitment.

I love Social Workers and think every day what an incredible job they do. Many of the Social Workers have worked for me years and have not just been “candidates” they have become long term friends.

 

Outside work

I have a very busy life out side of work with my amazing family, Fiancé Lewis, children Harriet, Hector and Adelaide and not forgetting my gorgeous fur baby Leo (Cavapoo).

Weekends are usually spent trying to entertain all 3 children while taking a well-earned rest. As a family we love going to the coast, walking in the countryside and the attending odd beer garden in the summer – With a park of course.
